Embark on a 3 day Kenyan adventure through Tsavo East and Amboseli. Spot iconic elephants against the stunning backdrop of Amboseli’s Mount Kilimanjaro and explore the vast plains of Tsavo teeming with wildlife. An unforgettable safari experience awaits.
DAY 1 – TSAVO EAST
Departure around 06:00 from your resort.
To reach the gate of Tsavo East park we will cross the largest forest in Kenya, Arabuko Sokoke, which extends for about 420 km2 and is one of the last areas of coastal forest left in Kenya. Tsavo East is the largest park in our country (13,747 km2), characterized by its fascinating red earth.
First short stop at Crocodile Point, to refresh yourself and admire the crocodiles in the Galana River.
You enter the park at around 09:00 and immediately start with the Game Drive (photo safari) until lunchtime, in search of animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, zebras and many other animals that live in the African savannah.
Arrival at the lodge/camp around 13.00. Check‐in to the room.
Lunch and relax in your room or by the pool.
Around 3.45pm departure for the second game drive until sunset, when you return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2 – AMBOSELI
5.30am breakfast and we leave at 6am.
Two-hour game drive and then we head towards Amboseli Park, where we will arrive in about three and a half hours.
Arrival at the camp/lodge on the slopes of the imposing Mount Kilimanjaro, lunch and rest.
We set off for the afternoon Game Drive at around 3pm and head towards Lake Amboseli where we will continue our search for animals.
At sunset return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After dinner, a representative of the Masai tribe will give a welcome show around the bonfire and we will stay to chat before going to sleep.
DAY 3 – WATAMU
5.45 breakfast, 6.15 everyone back in the jeep! We will continue the game drive in the park until 8.30.
At the end we will head towards Watamu, where we will arrive around 5.30pm, after about 9 hours on the road.
During the walk we will stop in the city of Voi for lunch. Possibility to visit the Masai village nearby (not included), where you will see typical dances and you will be able to visit their homes, called Manyatta, as well as buy souvenirs to support their community.
